Hours (for Dept/Government/Nonprofit only):

Employees may shop for their OSU departments, government agencies and nonprofits*:

Mondays – Fridays at 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Note that we are closed to all shoppers when the university is closed (on designated holidays or due to inclement weather).

Personal purhcases cannot be made during the department hours listed above.

*Nonprofits may shop during these hours if they have 501(c) status. First-time agencies, please provide an IRS eligibility notice the first time you make a purchase.

Payment Methods

OSU employees must pay using a department index. Federal grant indexes are not accepted due to IRS guidelines.

Government agencies and nonprofits may pay by company credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or check. Under limited circumstances, agencies and nonprofits can be invoiced.

Delivery of purchases can be provided for OSU departments on the Corvallis campus for a fee.


OSU Surplus Property carries computers and computer accessories, furniture (chairs, desks, file cabinets, tables, bookcases, etc.), office supplies, scientific equipment and glassware, dishes, decor and much more. Consider following our Facebook page, where we periodically post photos of our current merchandise.

To encourage sustainability and reduce department expenses, we have a free office supply program that allows OSU departments to acquire office supplies and housewares priced at $5 or less for free, with a limit of $20 per visit. This applies to non-inventoried items (i.e. items marked with white price gun tags or cash sales, but not items that are marked with orange tags). Employees are asked to visit the front desk to log these items and their dollar value. Delivery of these items are still subject to a fee.

Items can be placed on hold for up to 48 hours, if needed.


We are located in the Property Services Building at the corner of 13th St. and A Ave. (644 SW 13th St.) in Corvallis.
